DEMARIO DAVIS 2025 SEASON ANALYSIS
Davis continued to thumb his nose at time in his 14th NFL season, establishing a career high with 143 tackles. He has amassed more than 100 tackles for nine straight seasons and 11 times in his career, and for the 12th time he played in every game. Davis also tied his career high with two forced fumbles, recovered a fumble, defended three passes, had six tackles for loss, two quarterback hits and a half-sack. He wants to play for a 15th season, and the numbers suggest there’s no reason he shouldn’t.
BEST GAME OF DEMARIO DAVIS’ 2025 SEASON
Davis didn’t have his highest tackle output against the Giants in a 26-14 victory on Oct. 5 in the Caesars Superdome; his 10 tackles that game was a mark he topped four times during the season. But he had a quarterback hit and, more important, his chase-down and strip of Giants receiver Darius Slayton at the Saints’ 35-yard line in the second quarter, with New Orleans trailing 14-13 and the Giants poised to widen their lead, helped set up the Saints for a lead-taking field goal as time expired in the first half. New Orleans didn’t allow another point in its first win of the season.
