The Giants are backing up the truck for John Harbaugh.

Harbaugh, who was first reported to be headed to the Giants late Wednesday by The Post’s Paul Schwartz, reportedly will command upwards of $20 million per season on his five-year contract, per NFL Network, making him one of the highest-paid coaches in the league.

With Harbaugh set to top $100 million with his deal, the deal puts him right in line with Kansas City’s Andy Reid and Denver’s Sean Payton, each of whom is also in the $20 million range.

Harbaugh was making $17 million per season in Baltimore before his exit after 18 seasons, so this pact is a slight raise from his previous deal with the Ravens.

It appears the Giants also will be opening their wallets for his staff, with Harbaugh eyeing Todd Monken as his offensive coordinator after he was previously with him in Baltimore for the past three seasons.

Schwartz previously reported that the Giants and Harbaugh spent a long day together Wednesday discussing details of the job over dinner at Elia Mediterranean Restaurant in East Rutherford.

Harbaugh also met with quarterback Jaxson Dart at the Giants’ facility as Giants brass continued to work with Harbaugh’s representation to reach an agreement.

The Giants have been starved for win in recent years and hope that Harbaugh can lead the franchise back to relevancy.
