New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston turned the New Heights podcast into a one-man hype festival this week, delivering an all-time rant about rookie running back Cam Skattebo that had Jason and Travis Kelce cracking up — and the internet begging for more.
Skattebo, the fourth-rounder who was turning heads with his bulldozer style before a truly horrific injury against the Eagles in October — open tibia fracture, ruptured deltoid ligament, bone poking through skin, the full nightmare — apparently left an even bigger impression on the veteran QB.
Winston, in full preacher mode, compared Skattebo to Disney’s chaos agent Stitch.

“That’s what Cam Skattebo is. He is from a football kingdom somewhere else. Somebody just dropped his crazy (expletive) on Earth and said go run that pill,” he said.
Winston kept going, recounting teammates marveling that Skattebo is listed the same size as Marshawn Lynch (5-foot-11, 215 pounds), with Russell Wilson allegedly joking that one Beast Mode thigh equals Skattebo’s entire torso.
Winston doubled over laughing at the thought.
Then came the toughness lore. Recalling Skattebo’s gruesome ankle snap, Winston imitated the scene: Skattebo yelling, “Help me up!” while guard Greg Van Roten shouted back, “Your ankle is going (the other direction)!” Yet the rookie still wanted to pop up and keep playing.

“That’s the toughness that he possesses,” Winston declared, arms flailing, eyes wide, pure admiration. “He’s from a different planet, bro.”
If Skattebo returns next year half as wild as Winston describes, defenses are in trouble. Earth defenses, anyway.
