How much money would you pay to see your alma mater win the College Football Playoff national championship?
That is what Indiana Hoosiers and Miami Hurricanes fans are asking themselves a few days out from the biggest game in their program’s history.
For Hoosier fans, this is a dream they never thought would come true only a few short years ago. The losingest Power Four school of all-time, Curt Cignetti has changed the team’s course, taking Indiana to within a game of a perfect season and its first-ever national title.
While Miami has won national championships before, it would hit differently on Monday, playing at home in Hard Rock Stadium in front of the Hurricane faithful. It’s been a quarter-century since Miami ruled the college football world, and they want to prove that “The U” is officially back.
Well, if either fan wants to go to the game, it’s going to cost them more than they ever dreamed possible.

Currently, on third-party ticketing sites, if you want to sit in the last row behind the field goals, it will cost you over $4,000. Nosebleed tickets are rising day after day, and if you want to sit up close for the national championship, tickets are going for over $20,000.
And if you really have the cash and want to make this a once-in-a-lifetime experience, packages and suite tickets are going for over $40,000 for the single game on Monday in Miami.
Usually, for national championship or big finals games, tickets are expected to be lower closer to the game, but that might not be the case for Monday’s clash. Third-party ticket experts have chimed in, saying that, with Miami playing at home and a large contingent of Indiana fans making it down to Florida, the $4,000 nosebleed tickets might actually get more expensive closer to kickoff than they are now.
