Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson is not expected to return in 2026 now that head coach Raheem Morris has been fired. Luckily for Robinson, NFL teams are always looking for play-callers and he’s already landed three interviews for offensive coordinator jobs.
According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Philadelphia Eagles are interviewing Robinson on Friday for their offensive coordinator vacancy. The Eagles fired play-caller Kevin Patullo after their 23-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC wild card round.
Robinson previously interviewed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions for their offensive coordinator vacancies. Atlanta’s offense had its share of ups and downs in 2025. While the Falcons finished 14th in total yards last season (333 yards per contest), the team only put up 20.8 points, which ranked 24th in the NFL.
The offense also struggled with its third-down conversion rate for much of the year. Robinson’s preference for the pistol formation aggravated some Falcons fans over his two seasons as Atlanta’s play-caller.
The Falcons have already lost quarterbacks coach D.J. Williams to the Washington Commanders. And while Robinson has landed three interviews, Atlanta denied the Dallas Cowboys’ request to interview defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich.

Thus far, the Falcons have completed nine interviews for their head coaching vacancy. The team spoke with former Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce on Friday, and interviewed Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley and Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter on Thursday.
