The Minnesota Vikings have set their sights on the offseason. That means we get plenty of mock drafts, which will inevitably be overhauled after the first wave of free agency.
But mock drafts can give us a good idea of what positions teams will be looking to address in the offseason. Right now, it seems as though every other mock has the Vikings taking a defensive back.

Justin Melo of The Draft Network is one of the latest experts to project such a pick. He has Minnesota selecting LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane with the 18th overall pick.
Mansoor Delane has been the top cornerback in college football this season. The Minnesota Vikings will undergo some changes in the defensive backfield this offseason, with Brian Flores possibly leaving his defensive coordinator post. Delane is a physical outside cornerback with sticky man-to-man coverage abilities.
The Vikings were able to allow the second-fewest passing yards in the NFL this season despite little star power at cornerback. Only Isaiah Rodgers (963) and Byron Murphy, Jr. (1,045) logged over 200 snaps at cornerback for Minnesota this season.
Delane would give the Vikings a young, talented cornerback who would add flexibility in coverage. Whether Flores will be the one calling the plays remains to be seen.
