After reportedly being rebuffed by John Harbaugh and Kevin Stefanski, Mike Borgonzi and the Tennessee Titans will enter the second round of interviews with three potential finalists, and the timing and schedule are starting to come into focus.Â
Tennessee will kick off its second round of interviews Monday morning with Matt Nagy, and immediately follow that with Robert Saleh’s second interview in the afternoon. Following those interviews on Monday, Jeff Hafley will be in Nashville on Tuesday to complete his in-person interview.Â
While it is hard to read anything into what is happening or the timeline’s meaning, one would think there is significant interest in Saleh. The two parties canceled their virtual meeting on Sunday and made it an in-person interview. It could mean nothing or everything; at this point, it’s anyone’s guess.Â
Hafley will travel to meet with the Titans after spending Monday with the Miami Dolphins, where he has a connection to the new general manager and is widely considered the favorite for their opening.Â
