The college football season will come to a close on Monday night as No. 1 Indiana takes on No. 10 Miami in the National Championship Game.
The New York Giants are likely to have scouts onhand for the game, with many other members of their scouting department and executive front office watching either from home or at team facilities. The game marks their final opportunity to scout high-end prospects in a live competitive environment (save for All-Star games).
Here is a quick breakdown of the players the Giants should key in on tonight.
National Championship Game: Indiana vs. Miami
Player spotlight: Indiana wide receiver Elijah Sarratt

For many, the focus will be on Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza, but that’s not a position the Giants intend to key in on during the draft. Instead, they’ll be looking for offensive linemen, interior defensive linemen, wide receivers, linebackers, and help in the secondary.
Several prospects fit that bill on Monday night, but one of the more intriguing is Hoosiers’ wide receiver Elijah Sarratt (6-foot-2, 209 pounds), a projected second-round pick.
Here is what Pro Football Focus has to say about Sarratt:
Sarratt is an alpha X receiver. His competitive toughness jumps off the screen when watching his film. He’s a high-energy player who does all the “big receiver” things you want to see — dominates at the catch points, stays tough through contact and does his part as a blocker. His separation rates are low, and that won’t change in the NFL, but it’s hard to watch this guy and not want him on your football team.
