The Los Angeles Rams should be in good shape again heading into Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. Sean McVay shared injury updates during his media session on Monday, telling reporters that there are minimal concerns coming out of the win over the Chicago Bears.
He said Byron Young has a sore knee, which is likely what limited him to a season-low snap share, but he’s expected to be able to play against the Seahawks in the NFC title game. Emmanuel Forbes Jr. left the game after just four snaps due to a shoulder injury, as well, and did not return.
McVay said neither injury should limit Young or Forbes in the NFC Championship Game, which is great news.
Josiah Stewart and Desjuan Johnson played increased snaps with Young banged up, helping fill in for the Rams’ standout edge rusher. With Forbes injured, the Rams leaned on Roger McCreary, Darious Williams and Cobie Durant in the secondary.
The Rams’ first injury report will be released after Wednesday’s practice, listing each player’s participation level.
