The Arizona Cardinals had an awful 2025 season, but there was one bright spot from start to finish, and that was the play of tight end Trey McBride. Selected to his second Pro Bowl and named a first-team All-Pro for the first time, he receives another honor.
He was the only Cardinals player to make the All-NFL team, as voted by the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA). He was also the only player on the Cardinals to make the All-NFC team.
The PFWA, comprised of media members covering the NFL and its 32 teams across the nation, voted on all-league and all-conference teams after the conclusion of the regular season.
It was McBride’s first career selection to the PFWA’s All-NFL team. He was one of 16 first-time selections.
McBride had a record-breaking season. He caught 126 passes for 1,239 yards and 11 touchdowns. He set two franchise records — the most receptions in a single season and the most receptions in a single season by a tight end, breaking the record he set last season. He set the NFL single-season record for receptions by a tight end, breaking Zach Ertz’ 2018 record of 116.

He was second in the NFL in receptions. He was tied for second in touchdown catches and sixth in receiving yards.
It will be tough to beat what he did in 2025.
