The Ravens are bringing in Bills’ offensive coordinator, Joe Brady.

For a second interview.

He’s been linked to the Bills opening.

That happened right away because the presumption is that Josh Allen really likes him.

So, if you’re Joe Brady, are you going to Buffalo, are you going to Baltimore, or are you going somewhere else?

What are you doing?

I would stay if I were him.

And that is completely dependent on, with a massive asterisk.

Does he believe in the organization?

Does he believe in Brandon Beane?

Because clearly the organization believes in Brandon Beane.

Or else they wouldn’t have just retained him, but they wouldn’t have promoted him.

President of Football Operations if they didn’t believe in his football acumen.

But let’s assume that he does.

I would stay.

There’s a certain value to familiarity with a roster.

Familiarity with your quarterback, and familiarity with an, with an organization as a whole.

It’s exactly where Joe Brady finds himself.

There’s always a certain ramping-up period with coaches, coordinators.

Quarterbacks and the entire roster.

You kind of just have to figure out how Everybody works.

There’s always a 1-2 year buffer.

Period for young coaches, right?

And we give that for a reason.

Because sometimes these things just take time.

Joe Brady doesn’t have that ramping-up period.

In Buffalo.

He and Josh Allen know each other incredibly Well.

They don’t have to build that rapport.

They’ve been building it for several years.

So if I were him, I would stay in Buffalo.

If I were him, I’d leave.

And, you know, because I’ve just watched this organization…

I think while Sean McDermott deserves some blame for where the Bills fell, I think a big part of it is just the lack of talent in the right places repeatedly.

Over.

Yeah… And over again.

If I’m Joe Brady, I’ve been dealing with that.

Also, I think there’s something about just Stepping into a new spot and situation, where you’re not suddenly trying to fill anybody’s shoes.

You’re not dealing with a roster that might see you some kind of way, because you’ve been an offensive coordinator versus now coach.

Uh, while comfort and continuity can matter in some situations.

I think if you’re the Bills, Part of what you were blowing this up for is you wanted a new voice.

How new can you get for somebody that’s already been in the building?

So, Joe Brady’s certainly an in-demand coaching candidate.

I just think Baltimore would actually make a lot more sense.
