CLEVELAND, Ohio — Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett received more recognition for his record-breaking season this week, this time from the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA).

Garrett was voted to the PFWA’s All-NFL team on Monday, his sixth consecutive selection to the team. He ties Reggie White for the most consecutive first team All-NFL selections at the defensive end position in PFWA award history.

The honor comes after he set the single-season sack record in 2025 with 23, likely setting himself up to win his second Defensive Player of the Year award in two weeks.

He also led the NFL in tackles for loss with 33, second-most in a single season behind J.J. Watt’s 39 in 2012.

Garrett recorded 124.5 sacks before his 30th birthday on December 29, the most in NFL history, and his 125.5 sacks since entering the league in 2017 are the most in that span.

He is tied for 20th all-time in career sacks with Dwight Freeney.

Garrett was named First-Team All-Pro for the sixth time in his career earlier this month.

He caught fire midseason, collecting 17.5 sacks in eight games from Week 7 to Week 15. He broke the NFL’s sack record when he brought down Joe Burrow with 5:04 left in the Browns’ Week 18 win over the Bengals.

Garrett will likely be named the PFWA’s Defensive Player of the Year later this week.
