The Los Angeles Rams have a one-in-four chance to win the Super Bowl this year after making it to the NFC championship round. They’ve been one of the favorites all year and now have a shot to claim their second Lombardi Trophy in head coach Sean McVay’s tenure.
Even though they still need to beat the Seattle Seahawks, one of the Rams’ former adversaries thinks L.A. will the Super Bowl this year.

Bruce Arians, who coached the Arizona Cardinals before he won a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, told ESPN’s Pat McAfee that he thinks the Rams will beat the Seahawks and take down whichever team comes out of the AFC this year. He noted that his Buccaneers squad that won it all in 2020 was a wild-card team, just like the Rams in 2025.
“I’ve been on two wild-card teams that got on a roll. And once you get on that roll, the noise doesn’t bother you anymore. You’ve got that invincibility feeling about you,” Arians said. “Seattle is a hard, hard place to go play, but the Rams have been there and done that. And I just see them doing it. I think they will beat anyone coming out of the AFC.”
The Rams have a tough opponent in the Seahawks, though, who beat L.A. in Seattle the last time these two teams faced off. The Seahawks haven’t allowed a touchdown in the playoffs, either, and have given up just 19 total points since they allowed 37 points to the Rams a month ago.

But veteran leadership matters, and the Rams have two known winners in McVay and quarterback Matthew Stafford. Arians also noted that the Rams’ defense has been able to thwart Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold over the past two years, so they can keep the game close even if the offense can’t put up points.
