The Jacksonville Jaguars were among the teams to vote for keeping the ‘Tush Push’ on Wednesday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

On Wednesday, the NFL’s 32 owners voted on the proposed ban, which was initiated earlier this offseason by the Green Bay Packers. The NFL needed 24 votes to ban the play, but ended up with only 22.

During the original voting back in March at the NFL league meetings, only 16 teams were in favor of banning the play.

The conversation was then tabled until Wednesday, and during that time, the Packers revised their proposal, which swayed six new teams to vote for banning the play. However, that still wasn’t enough to reach the 24-vote minimum.

Any team is able to utilize and run the ‘Tush Push’ play, but no one has perfected it like the Eagles have.
