In a 2025 NFL draft do-over, who did the Jacksonville Jaguars pick this time around?
As we know, the Jaguars originally traded up from pick No. 5 to pick No. 2 in a trade with the Cleveland Browns to select Travis Hunter.

In this redraft, there were no trades, so Jacksonville made its selection at pick No. 5.
However, with Hunter still on the board, Tom Blair of NFL.com still had the Jaguars selecting him.
“If the Jags were all in on him nine months ago, it makes sense for them to remain all in now,” wrote Tom Blair. “Yes, there might be a temptation to go with someone else here who would have stayed healthy enough to boost Jacksonville’s surprising 2025 run. That’s a short-term gain, though. This is a long-term project, and the Jags shouldn’t give up on someone who still has a chance to help entrench them as AFC contenders for years.”
The top four picks in this redraft included Cam Ward to Tennessee, Kelvin Banks Jr. to Cleveland, Jaxson Dart to the Giants, and Will Campbell to New England.

Unfortunately, Hunter’s season ended early due to a knee injury. And that injury occurred just as it looked like he was about to take off on the offensive side of the ball.
In Hunter’s final game against the LA Rams in Week 7, he caught his first touchdown pass and recorded his first 100-yard receiving game. His role moving forward on offense was about to expand.
On the year, Hunter caught 28-of-43 passes for 298 yards with a touchdown. The majority of his snaps came from the slot, but he lined up outside as well.
Defensively, Hunter played 162 snaps, allowing nine completions on 15 targets for just 96 yards. He had two pass breakups as well.

The plan moving forward is for Hunter to continue playing both ways, although given the current construction of the roster, it sounds like there could be more opportunities at cornerback in 2026.
