H. L. Bourgeois High School is proud to announce Stanley Smith as our new Head Football Coach!
Coach Smith brings a wealth of experience, championship success, and a proven record of developing student-athletes both on and off the field. Most recently, he served as Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach at Adams County Christian School. Prior to that, Coach Smith led Ferriday High School as Head Football Coach, guiding the program to district championships, multiple state semifinal appearances, and the 2019–2020 LHSAA Class 2A State Championship.
Throughout his career, Coach Smith’s teams have been known for discipline, defensive excellence, and academic accountability, while also preparing and sending numerous student-athletes on to compete at the collegiate level.
We are excited about the leadership, experience, and passion Coach Smith brings to the Braves community and look forward to the continued growth and success of HLB Football under his direction.
