The feds are looking into the death of Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay.

According to multiple reports, including ABC News and the Associated Press, The FBI is investigating the 65-year-old death at the Beverly Hills Hotel in May.

A California addiction specialist who had been treating Irsay with opioids and ketamine is also being investigated, according to ABC.

“We are aware of the investigation, but at this time, we’ve not been contacted by the FBI or been served with any subpoenas,” the Colts said in a statement.

Dr. Harry Haroutunian signed the death certificate that said the cause was cardiac arrest due to pneumonia, according to ABC News.

Irsay, a billionaire, owned the Colts for nearly 30 years, winning a Super Bowl with Peyton Manning at quarterback in 2007. Manning was close to Irsay and said he was “heartbroken” upon his death.

“He was an incredibly generous and passionate owner and I will always be indebted to him for giving me my start in the NFL,” Manning said in May.

“His love for the Colts and the city of Indy was unmatched. His impact on the players who played for him will not be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and everyone in the Colts community. He will be missed. Jim, rest in peace my friend.”

Irsay was open about his life-long struggle with addiction.
