The Tennessee Titans’ organization issued multiple statements on Thursday announcing Robert Saleh as the next head coach.

To nobody’s surprise, both general manager Mike Borgonzi and owner Amy Adams Strunk issued statements about Saleh, who, according to their press releases, embodies the fundamentals that the organization wants to embody moving forward.

One of the takeaways from Strunk was the league-wide respect Saleh enjoys, and how those recommendations, along with his detailed plan for Cam Ward and the offense, played a significant role in the hiring.

At the same time those press releases came out, Saleh also released his first official statement as Titans’ head coach, and, true to form, he did not disappoint, with the intensity he is known for permeating every line. Plus, ending it with “Let’s get to work” is a great way to endear himself to the fanbase early in his tenure.

The Titans will hold an introductory press conference for Saleh on Wednesday, so stay tuned as more information drops.
