The Kansas City Chiefs‘ offseason personnel shake-up continues as opportunities arise around the league. A shift could be taking place in the front office, with a trusted Brett Veach associate leading another team in 2026.

Chiefs assistant general manager Mike Bradway completed an interview with the Atlanta Falcons recently for their general manager opening. He could become the latest former Kansas City staff member to rise to a top-level executive role with another team. The Falcons barely missed the playoffs last year with an 8-9 record and are now led by their new team president, Matt Ryan.

Bradway joined the Chiefs in 2018, contributing to a franchise that has won more games, division titles, and Super Bowls than any other team in that span. He first held the position of assistant director of player personnel, then was named director of player personnel in 2021. He became the Kansas City Chiefs’ assistant general manager in 2025.
