With the 2025 NFL season largely in the rearview mirror, most of the NFL has turned its attention to offseason needs, which include preparing for the 2026 NFL draft.

While NFL teams do their due diligence in assessing prospective draft picks, the rest of us get to pretend we know what they are going to do with mock drafts.

NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah released his first mock draft of the year after the deadline for underclassmen to declare for the draft passed. In his opinion, the Tennessee Titans will add offensive protection for Cam Ward with the No. 4 overall pick.

Pick 4 – Tennessee TitansFrancis MauigoaMiami · OT · JuniorThis offseason is about helping Cam Ward take the next step, and that starts with doing a better job of protecting him. Mauigoa has excellent size/strength and still has room to develop.

In 2025, Ward was sacked 55 times, tied with Geno Smith for the most sacks taken. Those aren’t all on the offensive line; Ward’s development was slow, and he wasn’t confident in his decision-making early in the season. However, the line does bear most of the blame. Mauigoa could make an immediate impact with the Titans and elevate the performance of the offensive line.

Given the number of potential elite offensive linemen in this draft, and Mauigoa is likely a day-one starter, it’s not a huge surprise that Jeremiah would predict this. Other analysts believe the Titans will focus on defense with this pick, which really just shows that no one really knows what the Titans are going to do at this point.

As they nail down the coaching staff and the draft nears, we’ll have a better idea of what they might actually do in the draft.
