After the Seahawks went three-and-out following a Rams touchdown scoring drive, Seattle was down 13-10 and Los Angeles was looking to extend their lead even further heading into halftime. It was the Seahawks rookie Nick Emmanwori who came up with two pass breakups to force a Rams three-and-out and give Seattle a chance to score with just 54 seconds on the clock.

“Thought Nick played a great game,” head coach Mike Macdonald said after the game. “A lot of plays on the ball. We’re asking him to do a lot of stuff, playing near the line of scrimmage, playing both DB spots. That was awesome. And then because I think we had the drive earlier when we really didn’t do anything and defense picked it up with the three and out.”

Those two defensive stops allowed the offense to take the field and score in just 34 seconds to take the lead before halftime, with Seattle also getting the ball to start the second half.
