The Atlanta Falcons made some staff changes on Monday, hiring Robert Prince as their wide receivers coach and naming Craig Aukerman the new special teams coach. The team also retained defensive line coach Nate Ollie, tight ends coach Kevin Koger and secondary coach Justin Hood.

Prince has 15 years of experience coaching NFL wide receivers, including Calvin Johnson, Tyreek Hill, Golden Tate and Marvin Jones. Prince spent the 2025 season as the wide receivers coach for Mike McDaniel and the Miami Dolphins, and served as the pass-game coordinator/wide receivers coach for the Dallas Cowboys in 2024.

Prior to that, he was the wide receivers coach for the Detroit Lions from 2014 to 2020. Prince even spent three years in Atlanta (2004-2006), serving as a running backs coach, tight ends coach and offensive assistant.

The Falcons had issues with their wide receiver group last season, firing WRs coach Ike Hilliard and releasing slot receiver Ray-Ray McCloud a few weeks later. The lack of production from any receiver other than Drake London was a consistent issue for Atlanta in 2025.

The team has yet to hire a new general manager but former Lions GM Bob Quinn was added to the front office as a senior advisor. The Falcons are set to introduce head coach Kevin Stefanski on Tuesday.
