The NFL Pro Bowl just gave former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton some relief.
Back in the day (2015, to be exact), Dalton was one of the more infamous Pro Bowl additions, as he wound up being a seventh alternate for the offseason All-Star game.

But here comes Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
The well-known rookie was just named a Pro Bowl quarterback this year, presumably to replace Drake Maye, who is on his way to the Super Bowl with the New England Patriots.

It’s a downright hilarious development, as Sanders threw for 1,400 yards with seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions with a QBR of 18.9.
It would take seven-plus other options turning down the Pro Bowl… including Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow…before Sanders could even enter the discussion.
Alas, Sanders is apparently on the way to the Pro Bowl. And Dalton, therefore, is no longer one of the more infamous examples of a quarterback making it who probably shouldn’t have.

Just don’t tell Adam “Pacman” Jones.
