The 2024 NFL Draft is proving to be a pivotal one in recent history for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The class as a whole is going to be remembered for producing a lot of great talent for teams, specifically at quarterback. After Championship Sunday, at least one of the top quarterbacks, Drake Maye, has already proven to be worth the pick after he carried the New England Patriots to the Super Bowl. However, there are also a lot of bad picks sprinkled into this special class.

Not everyone can hit a homerun, which is why Bleacher Report doing a re-draft for the 2024 selection process is worth looking at.

The team originally drafted Graham Barton out of Duke, and he has been a plug-and-play starter since day one. However, in the re-draft, they go with a different center in West Virginia’s Zach Frazier. They write about the pick, saying, “Nearly a full round later, the Steeler found a great value in Zach Frazier. While Barton and Jackson Powers-Johnson were considered the heavy hitters of the interior line class, it is Frazier who has earned a top 10 score among centers with PFF this season. According to Sports Info Solutions, Frazier has already played over 1,000 pass-protecting snaps and he’s surrendered just one sack. That kind of stability in the middle of the offensive line is huge and should have the center in the first round of a re-draft.”

While the change may make sense on paper, Frazier would not have likely been able to swing out to tackle the way Graham Barton has for the Bucs when they are in a pinch.
