So many NFL mock drafts have the New York Giants connected to Ohio State wideout Carnell Tate, which makes sense — the team could use another talent to join Malik Nabers and Wan’Dale Robinson.

In our latest NFL mock draft from Christian D’Andrea, he has Tate to the Giants at No. 5, which falls in line with other projections. But in Daniel Jeremiah’s first NFL.com 2026 mock, he’s got the Giants taking LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane (it’s true they need help in the secondary), and Tate dropping all the way to the Jets at No. 16. He believes the Giants could find another wideout later in a deep draft class.

As for the Jets? Here’s his take:

This would be a value pick, but we see talented receivers go in this area of the draft year after year (Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Emeka Egbuka, Justin Jefferson). The Jets pair former Ohio State star Garrett Wilson with a fellow Buckeye.
