We have a new leader in the clubhouse, and he’s looking to make history.

Grant Udinski, offensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars, is the new favourite on FanDuel to be the next head coach of the Buffalo Bills.

After opening as a +700 longshot, Udinski now has the shortest odds listed at -180 on FanDuel following the Bills’ latest round of interviews.

If he is hired for the job, Udinski would become the youngest head coach in NFL history (His 30th birthday was Jan. 12, 2026), dethroning Sean McVay, who has held the record since being hired in 2017 when he was 30 years and 11 months old.

Though he did not call plays in his first season with the Jaguars (head coach Liam Coen did), Udinski, 30, helped the offence finish sixth in scoring, 11th in total yards and 12th in passing yards. He also worked closely with quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who set a career high with 29 touchdown passes and 38 total touchdowns, which was third in the NFL behind Matthew Stafford (46) and the Bills’ Josh Allen (39).

Udinski has risen quickly as a head coaching candidate. He began his NFL coaching career in 2020 as an assistant with the Carolina Panthers. In 2022, he joined the Vikings as an assistant to head coach Kevin O’Connell before rising to assistant quarterbacks coach in 2023 and then serving as the assistant offensive coordinator/assistant quarterbacks coach in 2024.

Brian Daboll opened with the best price to land the job, he now sits second in the market at +210, while Davis Webb (+380) and Klink Kubiak (+470) are the only other coaches priced shorter than 5-1.

Here is an updated look at the market on FanDuel.
