Travis Kelce is considering his next career move amid rumors he’s set to retire from the Kansas City Chiefs. Speaking to reporters earlier this month, the football star still seemed undecided as to whether or not this will be his final NFL season.
“I’ve got so much love for this team, this organization and the people here, so I’ll spend some time with them, go through exit meetings tomorrow and get close to the family and figure things out,” Kelce shared after the Chiefs were defeated by the Las Vegas Raiders on January 4.

The athlete also brought up the possibility of retirement on his podcast “New Heights” just weeks ago.
“I think if my body can heal up and rest up and I can feel confident that I can go out there and give it another 18, 20, 21-week run, I think I would do it in a heartbeat,” he said in a January 7 episode. “I think right now it’s just finding that answer and seeing how the body feels after this game and when it all settles down.”
Notably, Kelce is set to tie the knot with fiancée Taylor Swift this year. Their rumored wedding venue was leaked to Page Six in December. The outlet revealed that the couple plans to marry at the Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island.

The luxurious 5-star resort first opened in 1868, though it was remodeled as recently as 2004. It was previously reported that Swift and Kelce were considering Rhode Island as a venue—Swift’s own Watch Hill mansion was floated as a potential location, though the couple recently decided to expand their guest list, causing them to change course.
In November, Page Six revealed that the couple is considering having a much larger guest list than they originally anticipated.
Sources told the outlet that Kelce “is still close with many of his childhood friends from Cleveland, Ohio, plus he has a lot of teammates and NFL pals.”
