The Jacksonville Jaguars say that Mathieu Araujo will serve as the defensive pass game coordinator and Brian Picucci as the run game coordinator.
The roar of the Jacksonville Jaguars just gained two new voices.

The first announcement comes in the form of Mathieu Araujo, who will serve as the Jaguars defensive pass game coordinator.
Araujo, an East Freetown, Mass. native, spent four seasons (2022-2025) with the Miami Dolphins, serving as both their cornerbacks coach (2024-2025) Â and assistant defensive backs coach (2022-2023).
In 2024, Araujo led the Dolphins to their first top-5 finish in total defense since 2006 and helping the defense achieve 318.3 allowed yards per game in 2023.
The second announcement is the addition of Brian Picucci, who will serve as the Jaguars run game coordinator.
Picucci, a Leominster, Mass., native, spent two seasons (2024-2025) with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, serving as both their offensive line coach (2025) and assistant offensive line coach (2024).
In his time with the Buccaneers, Picucci has helped the team rank in the top 10 of rushing categories, such as yards per rush, rushing first downs and rushing yards per game.Â
While he served as the Buccaneers offensive coordinator, current Jaguars Head Coach Liam Coen was assisted by Picucci to finish in the top five points scored per game (29.5) and third down conversion percentage (50.9).
