Just two days after the Philadelphia Eagles watched one of their most prominent offensive coordinator candidates join the Tennessee Titans, Brian Daboll and the Titans’ staff have picked up a former member of the Eagles’ organization.

Greg Lewis will be joining the Titans as their wide receivers coach. He gets picked up after spending the past couple of seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.

via @Schultz_Report: Sources: The #Titans have now hired #Ravens WRs coach Greg Lewis as their new WRs coach. A big hire for Robert Saleh and Mike Borgonzi, who reunites with Lewis — one of the most respected in the business — after spending six seasons together in Kansas City (2017-2022).

Lewis made a name for himself as a player in the NFL before reaching the coaching space. He went undrafted out of Illinois in 2003. Lewis started his career as an undrafted free agent for the Eagles. He went from being a special teamer to working his way into becoming a key contributor. Lewis was on the Eagles’ NFC Champions roster in 2004.

Over six seasons in Philadelphia, Lewis appeared in 90 games. He caught 127 passes for 1,699 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Eagles parted ways with Lewis, including him in a 2010 trade with the New England Patriots. After he failed to make the team, Lewis signed with the Minnesota Vikings. He spent the final two years of his career playing for the Vikings.

Two years after calling it a playing career, Lewis went back to the NCAA to coach wide receivers at San Diego. He had runs at San Jose State and Pittsburgh before joining the New Orleans Saints in 2015. There was an Eagles-Lewis reunion in 2016 for a season, before Lewis took off for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017. He worked under his former head coach, Andy Reid, until 2023. Lewis recently wrapped up a run with the Baltimore Ravens.

Lewis’ journey now takes him to a young Tennessee team, with an exciting quarterback at the helm. He’ll get a chance to work with Titans head coach Robert Saleh and Daboll throughout the 2026 NFL season.
