An All-Pro for the Indianapolis Colts during the 2025 NFL season is reportedly not among the finalists for a new end-of-season award.

To go along with the MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, and Defensive Player of the Year awards, the NFL has unveiled the Protector of the Year in 2025, which will recognize the league’s top offensive linemen.

According to Brooke Pryor of ESPN, the winner will be decided by a panel that features a number of former offensive linemen greats.

This year’s six finalists for the award, according to Jeremy Fowler, include Garrett Bolles, Aaron Brewer, Creed Humphrey, Quinn Meinerz, Joe Thuny, and Penei Sewell.

The Colts‘ Quenton Nelson is not up for the award this year.

As he’s done throughout his career, Nelson constructed another impressive season. This included being named to the Pro Bowl once again, along with being a second-team All-Pro.

Among all guards this season, Nelson ranked fourth in Pro Football Focus’ pass-blocking efficiency and fourth in run-blocking grade.
