49ers fans were ecstatic when fullback Kyle Juszczyk re-signed with San Francisco back in March 2025, and the 34-year-old veteran’s ninth NFL season in the Red and Gold did not disappoint.

Juszczyk, who formally announced he would return to the 49ers in 2026, had an impressive 2025 season in which he achieved numerous career milestones. In his 13th year in the NFL, he played his 200th career regular-season game, earned his 10th consecutive Pro Bowl nod, and led all fullbacks with 213 receiving yards.

Juszczyk shared his gratitude for the Niners’ most recent season in an Instagram post. Despite the 41-6 blowout loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Divisional Round, he assured his fans that “even brighter days are ahead.”

In his second year as team captain, Juszczyk thrived as a dynamic, flexible offensive weapon for coach Kyle Shanahan. He overcame major adversity after suffering a rib injury in Week 13 against the Cleveland Browns and returned to action after the Week 14 bye. He still has over $3 million remaining in guaranteed money from the two-year deal he signed last offseason.

Fellow team captain and current tight end George Kittle commended Juszczyk in a comment on his Instagram post.

Ahead of the 2026 season, Juszczyk is entering his final year on his two-year contract with the 49ers, and he made it clear he wants the Santa Clara electrical substation conspiracy claims investigated. In the meantime, it’s pretty much guaranteed that he will be rooting against the Seattle Seahawks for Super Bowl LX.
