The 2026 Panini Senior Bowl game will be played on Saturday. This event has shown to be an important part of the pre-draft process for James Gladstone in his first year as the Jacksonville Jaguars’ GM.

The Senior Bowl is an invite-only, All-Star college football showcase for the top draft-eligible prospects.

The event is held in Mobile, Alabama, and consists of a week of highly competitive practices, where one-on-ones and team periods are emphasized, and concludes with an All-Star game on Saturday.

General managers and scouts from all 32 NFL teams flock to Mobile for this event. For many, it’s the first opportunity to see these prospects live, and the Senior Bowl also allows for NFL teams to meet with the prospects as well.

When it comes to the Jaguars, of the nine draft picks made by Gladstone in 2025, eight of those players participated in the Senior Bowl.

Linebacker Jack Kiser is a prime example of why Gladstone covets this event.

“So many of the guys that are willing to do more than what the norm might be, right?” Gladstone said last April, via Jaguars on SI. “Many are tapping out before they ever get to the game. To see somebody like Jack Kiser opt in to playing a position like safety when he is, in fact, an inside linebacker, when that could make him look worse than he would like, but was productive in that setting.”

Gladstone continued, “These are guys that love the game of football regardless of if it might put them in a compromising position in the eyes of evaluators and decision makers by playing too many snaps or playing out of position, et cetera. These guys love ball, and that’s what we’re hunting up.”

So as Saturday’s All-Star game unfolds, keep tabs on who is standing out at practice and in Saturday’s game because, as recent history tells us, there are future Jaguars players in this event.

Here you can find some of the Senior Bowl standouts from the week of practices that could interest the Jaguars.
