There aren’t many rules here at Jets X-Factor, particularly as it relates to the editorial team, and it boils down to the overall professionalism of the crew. However, one of those rare rules is something that cannot be disputed nor mocked, as it’s the cream of the crop of all NFL media mantras…
Dov = football guy.
For those unaware, this individual is one of the many news aggregators on the wonderfully educational social media platform called X (formerly Twitter). Perhaps most importantly, the aforementioned “Dov = football guy” rule is dripping with sarcasm.
Why does any New York Jets fan care about this? Well, it’s because Jets stud weapon Garrett Wilson dragged the account for “fake news” on Friday.
𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: Jets star WR Garrett Wilson is enjoying his off-season flying on a Private Jet across the world with his girlfriend Shay Holle.
He also purchased a $2.5 million Ferrari Daytona SP3.

Apparently, the @NFL_DovKleiman account on X posted something that told a story of Wilson flying across the world on a private jet with his girlfriend. Moreover, per the aggregator, Garrett purchased a $2.5 million Ferrari Daytona SP3.
Football guy Dov ended the post with a bit of a hat-tip attempt (when not including the emoji): “Wilson is winning on and off the field.”
New York’s No. 5 replied to the post in a direct manner:
follow this ^ account for fake news !!

“Follow this account for fake news!”
Wilson, 25, enters the offseason following his most disappointing professional season. He mustered just 395 yards (which incredibly led the team) and 4 touchdowns on 36 receptions in just 8 games played during his injury-riddled 2025 campaign.
The hope for Garrett and company is that head coach Aaron Glenn pulls the trigger on the right coaching staff hires, while also self-reflecting in a more modernized football way. Oh yeah, finding a quarterback who can lead the offense would be nice as well, but that’s a monstrously essential topic for a different day.
Throughout all the frustration — from fans and players to everyone associated with the organization — Wilson has remained true to this football program. It’s just one of the many true-blue reasons fans have stuck with No. 5.
Dov, not to be confused with a “soccer guy” or “figure-skating guy,” decided to get in the last word with this beauty of a comeback:
My bad *losing on the field*
Apologies.
— Dov Kleiman (@NFL_DovKleiman) January 30, 2026
Does everybody see what he did there? He took it back. He reneged on his “winning on and off the field” comment, and it makes sense considering the Jets have been a losing team since Wilson was drafted in 2022.
By the way, a social media aggregator is someone who primarily relays news (as a third party) without creating any original content of their own. As is the case on social media platforms, there are no official journalistic rules, so people who are willing to live on a digital platform can build a following by posting and/or re-posting when news breaks, and doing so over a long period of time.
No matter, though, since Jets fans have Wilson’s back to the hilt:
As far as Jets X-Factor is concerned, we’ll stick to original New York Jets content (i.e., film, analytics) while having some fun on the side. “Football guys” like Dov give us a lighthearted breather from time to time (please insert a Jamal Adams “All Luv” quote here).
