Now that Robert Saleh is in place as the head coach of the Tennessee Titans, he and general manager Mike Borgonzi will be tasked with building the Titans’ roster.

While they have a solid nucleus in place and some core foundational pieces, the Titans must find a way to infuse talent at all levels. After injuries took their toll and exposed their lack of depth, it’s clear they need more than just front-line players; they also need to upgrade their role players.

Last season, the Titans hit free agency to add some pieces, but were more restrained in their approach, adding a couple of key pieces in the process with mixed success. Bradley Locker of Pro Football Focus (PFF) looked at the Titans’ free agent class and picked out the best and worst signings of 2025.

Tennessee Titans

Best: G Kevin Zeitler

Zeitler arrived fresh off a fantastic season in Detroit and continued to thrive with the Titans. Although he was worse as a run-blocker, he improved in pass protection with a 75.4 PFF pass-blocking grade. The 35-year-old was tagged with just 16 pressures all season to help protect Cameron Ward.

Worst: T Dan Moore Jr.

Although one of Tennessee’s offensive line investments returned well, the other didn’t flourish. Moore was given a four-year, $82 million pact but earned only a 61.9 overall PFF grade. The former Steeler allowed eight sacks, and his 8.2% pressure rate permitted was the second-worst among tackles to play 500 or more pass-blocking snaps.

The Titans went heavy on the offensive line, and like the rest of the signings, it was a mixed bag. Moore did struggle at times, but you can’t fault Tennessee for his signing. The Titans needed to add a veteran tackle, and he was one of the few experienced ones on the market. It was clearly a supply-and-demand issue that hopefully, new offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo can mold in 2026.

Zeitler battled injuries most of the season, and at times it showed. Now an unrestricted free agent, it will be interesting to see if the Titans and Zeitler are open to a reunion.Â
