Buzz continues to build around Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Will Howard, who’s received heaps of praise from many within the NFL — which includes Las Vegas Raiders superstar edge rusher Maxx Crosby.
On a recent episode of Crosby’s podcast, The Rush, the Raiders defender shared his honest feelings on Howard, arguing his experience behind two great football minds will result in a bright future in Pittsburgh.
“I’m a Will Howard believer, I’m not gonna lie,” Crosby said. “…I think he’s a hell of a player. I think Will Howard’s got the size. He’s got the intangibles. He’s talented. He’s a smart quarterback. I think Will Howard just sitting there, learning behind [Mike] McCarthy and [Aaron] Rodgers is gonna do that franchise a lot of great things.”
Selected by the Steelers with the overall pick in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, Howard received a lot of support as Pittsburgh heads into the offseason with plenty of questions at the quarterback position — with some fans arguing he deserves at least a chance at the starting job in 2026.
