The Baltimore Ravens have a new offensive coordinator, Declan Doyle, who previously held the same position with the Chicago Bears. Doyle is quite young, 29 years old, and that’s the same age as his starting quarterback, Lamar Jackson.

The youngest OC in the league this season, Doyle’s main responsibility was to help head coach Ben Johnson develop an offensive game plan and aid in film study. Johnson, a first-year head coach in Chicago who had previously served as the Detroit Lions‘ OC, called the plays. However, the Johnson-Doyle offense was record-breaking for the Monsters of the Midway.

Quarterback Caleb Williams broke Erik Kramer’s 30-year-old franchise record for single-season passing yards. If he had thrown for 58 more passing yards, he would have become the first 4,000-yard passer in team history. So hopes are high for Doyle in Baltimore, as they should be, given all that he accomplished in Chicago.
