The Carolina Hurricanes lose to the Florida Panthers 5-0, the final score in game two of the Eastern Conference Final. The Hurricanes are in a very tough spot. They now trail the defending Stanley Cup champion 2-0 in the series. The Panthers jumped on the Canes from the word go. They were up 3-0 by the end of the first period. This is the first time the Canes have been shut out of a postseason game since. Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final 2 years ago to the date they played Florida and goalie Sergei Bobrovski.
