NEW ORLEANS, La. – Per Radio Monte-Carlo (RMC), a major French radio station which broadcasts from Paris and Monte-Carlo, the New Orleans Saints will host the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 25 during the 2026 season in Paris.

There has been much speculation, since the Saints established their marketing rights in Paris in 2023, that the team would eventually play host to a game in the partner city. This report suggests that those negotiations, which appeared to be on the way to being postponed to 2027 for some time, have finally concluded with the result being a game during the 2026 season.

“After months of negotiations, it’s finally official,” the post reads when translated to English. “The first NFL game in France will take place in Paris, at the Stade de France, on October 25, 2026. It will pit the New Orleans Saints against the Cleveland Browns.”

The stadium, Stade de France, is located in the Saint-Denis commune and is roughly 32 miles north of the Eiffel Tower.

The game will be the first in the NFL’s history in France and the Saints’ first international game since their England showdown with the Minnesota Vikings in 2022.

The NFL has yet to confirm the report, but an announcement one way or another is expected soon, a source tells LouisianaSports.Net.

RMC’s report confirms those of French football analyst Nykolas Pierre-Masse, who first shared the game’s expected announcement on Jan. 29.

Per sources, Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders was spotted earlier today, in the Paris stadium, during what looked like the NFL’s taping of the announcement commercial.
