It appears that the Las Vegas Raiders have finally found their next head coach.

Clint Kubiak, the offensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks, is not only going to be preparing for a Super Bowl, but he’s also going to be preparing his staff as he will become a first-time head coach in Las Vegas.

Now, stop me if you’ve heard this before, because it feels like the Raiders hire a new coach about every other year, and that’s true, but the hope within the franchise is this time it’s different.

This was not a fast process, this was a long one.

There were dozens of candidates that were looked at.

They talked to over a dozen candidates in person.

When you think about the length of the process, the one thing I would tell everybody to remember is that when this entire journey started, if you had told the fan base that they were gonna Clint- get Clint Kubiak, they would have erupted with excitement.

That’s exactly where we ended up.

Through this long, thorough process, my hope as a Raiders fan is that they finally nailed it.

But for every single fan base that looks at what to root for for your new head coach, what you look for is, does it feel like the process was thorough?

This time, it feels like the Raiders have done that.

We’ll see if it actually changes the result on the field.
