The 2026 NFL offseason has created a lot of chaos in the coaching market with 10 teams looking to bring in new leaders, but the Las Vegas Raiders may have the most intriguing situation.
Las Vegas is on the clock with the number one overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft and owners Mark Davis and Tom Brady have been aggressive this offseason not only looking for a coach but also ways to improve the roster.
After firing Pete Carroll recently, ESPN’s Adam Schefter has revealed the Las Vegas Raiders’ next target. The Raiders have zoned in on Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak.

The Seahawks OC will be busy over the next week as he prepares his team to face the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 60. However, after two interviews with Las Vegas he’s clearly impressed the AFC West franchise.
This season, Kubiak has been instrumental in Seattle’s offensive success and helped take Sam Darnold’s game to another level. However, the Raiders are an interesting situation after hitting on several recent picks.
In 2025, Las Vegas selected highly-touted running back Ashton Jeanty after Brock Bowers took the league by storm the year prior. Now, the NFL world expects the Raiders to take a quarterback with the number one pick.

Following Indiana’s incredible college football season, Fernando Mendoza appears to be the frontrunner. He’s already spoke about potentially playing for the Raiders, while Brady has been very impressed with the Heisman Trophy winner.
