When the Vikings played their final game nearly a month ago, rumors swirled about the future of C.J. Ham. Now, there is finally confirmation on something that so many fans dreaded.

After spending nine years in the NFL, the Pride of Duluth, through an announcement from his agency, has officially retired. The Denfeld alum spent his entire career in the Purple and Gold where he made two Pro Bowls while scoring eight total touchdowns.

For a majority of Ham’s tenure in Minnesota, he was the lead blocker for Dalvin Cook, which helped the running back earn four consecutive Pro Bowl selections. Aside from his performance on the field, Ham was also nominated twice for the league’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

The fan favorite finishes his tenure in the NFL as one of 11 fullbacks remaining.
