A new era has begun for the Baltimore Ravens, and it will be Jesse Minter as the leading voice for the AFC franchise.
After a poor 2025 season, the Ravens are expected to bounce back in 2026, if they can stay healthy.
But Minter has needs to address on both sides of the ball, and while some are minor, others require urgent attention.
One position is pass rush, and the Ravens have had good groups for so many years, but they didn’t in 2025.
And Bleacher Report’s Alex Kay has a way to fix it — go after an All-Pro from within the division.
“The Ravens could open the Jesse Minter era by taking a swipe at one of the franchise’s biggest rivals,” Kay wrote. “Poaching Trey Hendrickson from the Cincinnati Bengals would not only knock an AFC North threat down a peg but also reinforce a Baltimore pass-rushing unit that sorely needs a shot in the arm.”

Could Ravens go after Hendrickson?
Of course, they could, but it would be a pricey move to make.
I wouldn’t expect Hendrickson to settle on anything less than $30 million APY in his next contract, which some think could be a multi-year deal.
Is that something the Ravens could stomach?
Given Minter is in control of the defense, it does seem feasible, especially with Trey’s relationship with the Cincinnati Bengals reportedly not in a good spot.
If this move were pulled off, it would be a hell of a start to life under Minter in Baltimore.
