I, I’ve covered- this is my 12th Super Bowl, and I think Mack Hollins is the most interesting player I’ve come across in those 12 Super Bowls.
This guy is different.
I’ve enjoyed being around him.
You know, I’d heard stuff about him, but Mack Hollins, obviously, the- he- the big thing with him is he doesn’t wear shoes anywhere.
Right.
He’s barefoot all the time.
Coming to, coming to the stadium, no shirt, no shoes on.
It’s snowing outside, he doesn’t care.
He also doesn’t drink, like, our regular drinking water.

He doesn’t- he hasn’t eaten vegetables in five or six years.
Okay.
Doesn’t eat with utensils.
He is- he, he doesn’t eat- To aid digestion.
Yeah, I believe.
He doesn’t eat with utensils?
No, no, no.
This is a guy- I’ve heard that, yeah, yeah.
He, he- Shoveler?
-will not use wireless headphones.
Like, he has all these things about him, and in this era, like, especially when you come to a Super Bowl, nobody wants to be the guy making headlines for the wrong reasons.
Nobody wants to say anything controversial, and you get called in by the coach, like, “We talked about no distractions this week.

Mack Hollins is the opposite.
On Monday, at media night, he said You know, somebody started, started asking him about the game, and he just starts yelling, “No football, no football.
I’m not answering football questions.
You can ask me about anything else in the world, but not football.”
‘Cause he wanted to talk about all this stuff, and he’s been- That’s awesome … so open, so entertaining.
He’s a really, really smart dude.
I’ve enjoyed the heck out of Mack Hollins this week, because you don’t see a lot of personalities come out Super Bowl.

Yeah, yeah, he is.
Who also was injured early, and we didn’t know exactly if or when he was coming back in the playoffs.
Had the big catch against the Broncos.
Like, he is also a very good blocker, downfield threat some, like, another important piece of the team.
Yet, when you’re mentioning the most important players for the Patriots to potentially win the Super Bowl, he’s what?
Fifth, sixth, right, he’s down the list as to, hey, if player X has a g- big game, they’ll be able to win this.
But he’s also carved out a career, right?
He has.
Like, and just- He was with that Eagles Super Bowl team about eight years ago.

Yeah.
That’s it, it’s over.
Right?
Like, this is the He’s figured out the world we haven’t.
Look, he’s, he’s at least making enough impact plays and enough of a quality presence in locker rooms that locker rooms want him.
