SANTA CLARA, Calif. —
The New England Patriots held their second practice Wednesday at Stanford University ahead of Super Bowl LX.
“We’re back to work. We’re trying to have it to more where we implement it like in Foxborough. Meetings and practice and everything, controlling the controllable is something that I live by,” cornerback Marcus Jones said.
Head coach Mike Vrabel led the team on the practice field and participated in a few drills, according to the pool report.
After practice, the Patriots released their injury report.
The biggest name on it was quarterback Drake Maye, who was listed as a full participant.
Linebacker Robert Spillane, who was injured in the AFC title game, did not practice due to an ankle injury but said Wednesday he’s confident he will play Sunday.
With the exception of five players, nearly every Patriot is expected to play in the Super Bowl.

Receiver Stefon Diggs, an 11-year veteran, will be making his first Super Bowl appearance.
“I had a conversation with somebody who said, ‘Are you excited?’ I said, ‘I’m not excited at all.’ I feel like excitement is a little bit of a different emotion. Excitement is what I get when I maybe buy a car, buy something new or buy a watch or something. Right now, I just want to work,” Diggs said.
Undrafted rookie wide receiver Efton Chism said all that matters on Sunday is winning.
“Super excited. Super thankful. It’s definitely surreal. You get to the biggest moment and on the biggest stage and just ready to compete this week and compete on Sunday,” Chism said.
For the Seattle Seahawks, safety Nick Emmanwori injured his ankle during practice and had to leave.
He has been a key contributor in the playoffs with one fumble recovery and four pass breakups.
