The Patriots will be appearing in their 12th Super Bowl, as they look to break the championship record.

That was before he was selected by his current team, the New England Patriots, in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL draft, being the 120th overall pick.

He signed his four-year rookie contract with the Patriots on May 19, 2021.

2022 became his breakout year, despite starting as a second choice to Damien Harris.

Stevenson ended the season with 1,040 rushing yards and five touchdowns, along with a team-leading 69 catches to go with 421 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Since then, the 27-year-old has impressed as an offensive player in the NFL, becoming the first player in Patriots franchise history to record over 700 scrimmage yards in each of his first four seasons. 

In 2024, Stevenson signed a four-year, $36 million contract extension that included a guaranteed fee of $17 million.

He went into the recent 2025 season as the starter ahead of TreVeyon Henderson, but a toe injury put him out for a handful of weeks, and in his absence, the rookie impressed – taking over the starting role.

Ultimately, he finished the season with 603 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, helping the Patriots clinch the second seed in the AFC and a 14-3 record.
