The Tampa Bay Buccaneers franchise has been a family business since the Glazers purchased the team in 1995. They immediately installed a sense of community with current and former players, and it continues today with anyone who has ever been attached to the franchise. The latest sense of community comes in the form of fans, players, and media rallying around former head coach Bruce Arians.
B.A, as he is affectionately named, will undergo open heart surgery on Friday, Feb. 6.

Arians released a statement, saying, “Recently on The Today Show, I mentioned I would be having open heart surgery and I just wanted to clarify and let everyone know the procedure I am having is a common one and is something my doctors and I have been monitoring for a number of years and they recommend I correct the issue now so l can be as good as new back on the golf course ASAP. I want to thank everyone for all the prayers and well-wishes.”
With Arians hinting that his priority is getting back on the golf course, it shows everyone he truly isn’t worried about it. Everyone here at Bucs Wire and beyond is sending their well wishes to the Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach and for him to have a speedy recovery.
