A.J. Brown had quite the 2025 NFL season with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The star wide receiver wasn’t shy about sharing his thoughts on social media, and on a livestream, and in media appearances.

Brown’s unhappiness with his usage surely didn’t endear himself to everyone in the building.

Despite that, he also surpassed 1,000 yards, so not all was bad.

It’s a tough balance to figure out as the Eagles head into this offseason and have to decide what they’re going to do with Brown for the future.

The Athletic’s Dianna Russini shared a new update on the plans in an article that came out on Saturday.

“A.J. Brown’s situation with the Eagles is still unresolved, but his relationship with the team remains somewhat tenuous,” Russini writes. “From what I’m hearing, substantial conversations about his future have not yet taken place, but expect talks to ramp up around the NFL combine in two weeks.”

Brown was such a crucial part of helping the Eagles to win the Super Bowl a year ago.

This time around, Philly again won the NFC East Division, but they were knocked out in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs by the San Francisco 49ers.

The Eagles had kept their offense mostly intact from the Super Bowl team to this year, while the defense got a big overhaul.

Maybe this offseason, it works the other way around and a Brown move begins an overhaul of the offense.
