The Saints Must Address Cornerback This Offseason, and One Player Is Not Enough

Taylor leaving in free agency is an extremely likely outcome, so the Saints will be forced into finding at least one DB to fill the slot. In free agency, players like Amik Robertson or Kader Kohou would be excellent signings by the Saints, will be cheaper options, and could be signed to multi-year contracts. In the draft, the first round has S Caleb Downs, who would be excellent in the slot for Brandon Staley’s defense, or Kieonte Scott in the second round, who is very similar to Alontae Taylor.
