Sean Payton has lost another member of his coaching staff.
The Baltimore Ravens are expected to hire Denver Broncos passing game specialist Zack Grossi as their tight ends coach, according to a report from Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports. He coached in Denver from 2022-2025, initially joining four years ago as an offensive quality control coach. Grossi has experience coaching tight ends from the 2024 Senior Bowl.
Grossi previously worked with new Baltimore offensive coordinator Declan Doyle from 2023-2024 with the Broncos. He also overlapped with Joe Lombardi (2023-2025), who is joining the Ravens as a senior offensive assistant.
Grossi battled and overcame cancer in 2024 after being diagnosed with a yolk sac tumor. He is now cancer-free.
Grossi is the third coach to leave Denver this offseason for a promotion elsewhere, joining Pete Carmichael and Jim Leonhard, who both landed with the Buffalo Bills. He’s the sixth coach overall to depart the club in 2026.
