When it comes to celebrity fans, Kevin Durant may be the biggest Washington Commanders fan among them all. A native of Prince George’s County, Maryland, Durant has been a die-hard Washington fan since childhood. Over the years, Durant has made it a habit to either attend a Commanders‘ game or a training camp practice.
These days, Durant plays for the Houston Rockets as he eyes his third NBA title. Durant is having another terrific season, averaging 26 points per game, as the Rockets are currently fourth in the NBA’s Western Conference.

While Durant has two NBA titles on his resume, an MVP award, two finals MVP awards and four Olympic gold medals, making him the most decorated male basketball player in Olympic history, he’s missing something.
Durant wants his Commanders to win a Super Bowl. Washington has won three Super Bowls, but only one since Durant has been alive. What would the NBA legend give up for the Commanders to even make an appearance in the Super Bowl next season?
In an appearance on “Up & Adams” with Kay Adams last week, she asked Durant what he would give up for a Commanders’ Super Bowl appearance.
While Adams initially said a Super Bowl appearance, Durant thought she said a Super Bowl win. After thinking about it, Durant seemed OK to still trade his MVP award for a Washington Super Bowl appearance.
